Breakfast Club Recap (6-23-07)

Dear Breakfast Club,

The ice cream social was fabulous. From the old-fashioned sherbet punch to bananas foster a la mode, we were in heaven.

The other highlight was talking about our favorite "ice cream" memories. Turns out, we've made it ourselves; we've eaten it at neighborhood gatherings and in foreign countries; and we've chased the ice cream truck down the street.

As always, we had a great mix of regulars and new faces. Welcome first-timers -- we hope to see you at the next one!

Speaking of, we'll be celebrating four years of the Breakfast Club at our next gathering. Given everyone's summer schedules, we'll be on hiatus until late August/early September, but we'll come back with a bang to celebrate the big anniversary. Details to come!
